Karen Sanders is an award winning graduate of the prestigious four year degree program of the School of Interior Design, Ryerson University, Toronto.

An experienced independent design professional, Karen has been creating timeless and artistic designs for over sixteen years and has specialized in four and five star hospitality and high end residential design. Many of her projects have been featured in the Style Section of the Globe and Mail newspaper, Air Canada’s enRoute magazine, Conde Nast Traveler and Great American Kitchens.

Her design philosophy incorporates timeless and classic design with a modern vision, bringing enduring quality of design with fine art, simplicity and function. When creating a design, she follows an interactive process that not only clarifies project requirements and needs but builds a connection for her clients and the environments they want to create.

Karen is a member of the IDA and the IIDA, she is also involved in the mentoring of design students, has been a part-time teacher in the design industry for several years and believes in giving back to the community.
